[TRANS] 140916 "Journal of Night Watchmen" Jung Yunho's Sobbing Acting, Throwing Out the Fllower Boy

-Note: this article contains spoilers.-

If one rarely shows his emotions, when his emotions erupt, it is inevitably more intense. Through the sobbing acting which burst out in just one instant, "Journal of Night Watchmen" Jung Yunho has blown asunder the doubtful points about the Moo Seok who had been severely icy. Why Moo Seok had such a cold personality, what kind of past pain had he experienced before, these were all explained in just that one stroke. Instead of using 100 sentences (to explain that), his strong sobbing acting has made viewers of the small screen immersed before "Journal of Night Watchmen" breaks through the new entry barrier of forming the group of night watchmen.

Because "Journal of Night Watchmen" is explaining the reason for Moo Seok, who is always walking the straight road (ie straight-laced), joining forces with the night watchmen who catch ghosts, they had chosen sobbing acting which could possibily be difficult for an actor who does not have that much experience. Jung Yunho executed the sobbing acting with a high level of difficulty with ease. Through the scenes of him recalling his past when his deep affection for his sibling led to despair at his sister's death, he convinced the viewers of the same.

And that was definitely due to his sobbing at the sadness which was to the extent of being beyond description, when he witnessed his sister's passing. The tears of Moo Seok, who embraced his sister in his arms and cried with all the strength left his entire body, made one feel the full impact of his heartwrenching love for his family. Because it was the Moo Seok who had rarely shown any changes in his facial expression all these while and who had not had any ups and downs in his emotions, even with just the reminiscing scene of him being engulfed in tears was enough to acutely express the love for his sister.

In particular, through his sobbing acting, Jung Yunho had encompassed all of the despair and deep sadness which crumbled totally of Moo Seok, who had been extremely cold the whole time. While expressing Moo Seok's emotions, which had been directed towards an endless stream of sadness, with pouring tears and his ardent facial expressions, he made the viewers choke up too. Because Jung Yunho's face, which was contorted to the extent that one momentarily forgot that he was handsome, and which had been overcome with tears, acutely encompassed the sad regretful pain experienced by Moo Seok, this made the level of immersion into the drama high. Although his perfect physique and sculpture-like face (meaning extremely handsome) became slightly wrecked, his acting was outstanding. He had also momentarily put down the weight of being on stage where he is full of charisma.

The "Journal of Night Watchmen" this day saw its highlights as Moo Seok joining forces with the night watchmen, and the starting of the activities of the trio night watchmen, Lee Rin, Do Ha (Go Sung Hee) and Moo Seok, who are setting out to stop Sadam who is taking seige of Joseon by using ghosts. Amidst Moo Seok's sadness and his love for his younger sibling becoming the opportunity for him to join efforts with the night watchmen, Jung Yunho is receiving good reviews from the viewers with his acting, which is once again improved by yet another level.
