The bonds between TOHOSHINKI and their fans who have been supporting them/The inside business story in the entertainment world.

We covered the final concert of TOHOSHINKI tour commemorating10 year anniversary since they debuted in Japan.

Their live performance was overwhelmingly good. As soon as the show started, they were united with 55,000 fans and they performed dance and ballad songs, where they put all their souls and hearts into their performances for 3 hours 40 minutes. They also explained to their fans while not being able to hold their tears that they would not be able to have TOHOSHINKI solo live tours for awhile. They promised strongly to the audiences, “We will come back as the two of us for sure.”

On that day, while listening to the singing voices of Yunho and Changmin and watching their performances, and listening to their words, I felt sincerely that they truly cares about their Japanese fans. And when Yunho made a fist with his right hand and said, “This (heart) is more important than words”, I thought that they were able to convey their feelings/emotions to their fans fully.

In Korea, all men are obligated to military duties for about 2 years and they need to be enlisted before their 30th birthday. Although the dates of their enlistments are not decided, they are expecting to be enlisted.. and this stage will highly likely to be the last solo Japan live tour before their enlistments.

At their interview before the live concert, which was less than 1 hour before the show begins, and the environment was quite hectic.. and I believe that they have to be prepared for the grand summary (of 10 years), they took our interviews in their usual friendly attitude and with smiles. And the more importantly, their words were filled with gratitude and positive.

TOHOSHINKI who debuted in Japan in 2005, were already the top stars in Korea but they worked really hard to climb their way up, starting as new comers and studied very hard to speak Japanese completely. Thanks to their hard work, with their singing ability in Japanese and the high quality of their dance performances, they were able to get many fans in fast speed.

In looking back, YH said, “We were scared to have activities in a foreign country in the beginning of our career. We could not communicate well… ” “However, thanks to everyone’s warm support, we have been able to give a 10 minutes long MC. We really wanted to convey our thoughts and feelings in our own words, we have tried our best while struggling and worried about many things. I am really glad that we have met you all and we can sing and dance as TOHOSHINKI, and we can talk this much.” He talked about his heart.

CM also said, “Thanks to everyone, we have come to this far. I am truly grateful to you all to give us a huge encouragement.” and CM bowed.

Both YH and CM made sure to convey to us about how grateful they are to their Japanese fans and staffs for being with them and thanks to fans and staffs, they were able to grow (mature) in their own words.

They also knew what we wanted to ask them already and about the issue that “They will not be able to meet with everyone for a while”, YH said, “I feel sad and feel bad about letting everyone to wait for us.. but I want to give happy memories to everyone through this stage and it is better to go after that.” CM said, “We will not be able to meet with you (our fans) at TOHOSHINKI’s solo live. However, I want to do all my best as I usually do and.. then, I wish to meet with our Japanese fans at a live venue.” Everyone including their staffs were quite impressed by those words.

After the interview, YH said to the reporters, “I could talk more.. but if I do that.. I think it will make my mind very heavy and I cannot perform well on stage.. so I wanted to tell you in a bit casual fashion.” and he showed that he cared about us. Then he smiled and gave thumbs up with both of his hands. At last, they said together, “Thank you very much. Please take care.” in good spirits and left for preparation of the stage. It was the moment to reveal how great person they are.

10 years since they debuted in Japan. They went through hard and good times. They have evolved through all these years. To compare to that, the period of time where “we will not be able to meet with them for awhile” should be short one. We should send them off with smiles on our faces and we should greet them who would be matured in good health.　♪For sure.. we will be okay, even we have to be parted.. For sure, everything will be okay, we will be bonded forever. .. Just like the lyrics of their new single SAKURAMICHI, even we won’t be able to meet with them at their live concerts, our “hearts” are one forever.
